Ryan Stiles Net -- Version 4.0 -- Rainbow War

In a world set in the sky, three kingdoms reside - the blue kingdom, the red kingdom, and the gold kingdom. Each kingdom is dominated by their color, and they scorn and hate any other color. When a boy from the gold kingdom invents a flying hoop and visits the other kingdoms, more flying machines are invented and both the gold and blue kindgoms invade the red kingdom. The rainbow war for color dominance erupts, but instead more, new colors are created, and everyone decides that all of the colors are good, thus creating friendships between all of the kingdoms. Ryan plays various characters in all three kingdoms and can be hard to recognize beneath paint, costumes, hats, and wigs.

Diane's Review

Albeit short, this film is cute and creative, and great for kids. The thing that irks me, however, is that there is absolutely no speaking. It's roughly twenty minutes of straight music and a random sound effect. If the film was half the time, it'd be more tolerable, but I wanted to hear some sort of dialogue. Other than that, however, this short is very fun with an original storyline. The best part is definitely the war itself, with paint being splattered in every direction. The flying golden hoops were cool, too - made me want one, haha. My other complaint is that it was too hard to distinguish people. Ryan is extremely hard to catch, as he plays random characters from all three kingdoms.
