Question: Hi guys! Hey Ryan, just wanted to say that you are one of my favorites, I started watching Who's Line because of you! Do you live in England part time doing Line and here part time doing the Drew show? I just wondered how that worked out.
DiedrichB: Is anyone else wearing a gladiator outfit?
RyanStiles: Yeah, I spend part of the time over there and part of the time over here. It's working out fine. I'll give you a call if things turn the other way. Thinking of you.

DiedrichB: I was in 'Sammy and the Professor' and another one I can't remember the name of where I played a waiter with a heart a gold.
RyanStiles: I was always in the same place doing the same thing behind a video camera, so it's hard to distinguish one from the other. Much like my life.

DiedrichB: We fall in love.

RyanStiles: The show starts off with a huge dance number. This is no joke. And we had to go to a choreographer for 3 days of hell.

Question what's the first thing youve ever done comically?
DiedrichB: I peed on the living room floor.
RyanStiles: It was last week and I still can't forget it. That does not come out easily. My first was at a stand-up club in Vancouver in 1976 and I stole all of George Carlin's material.
DiedrichB: I did Long Arm and I played the Barney Fife character 8 years ago.

DiedrichB: One time we killed Kate.
RyanStiles: A sand bag dropped on an extra once. That was pretty funny. He's a regular on "Homicide" now.
DiedrichB: Ryan and I try and throw each other off.

Question: Sorry if this has been asked but I just got here...Are the episodes "by the script" or is there any(much?) ad-libbing?
RyanStiles: When we first put it on its feet, we improvise around the script, but by show time, it's pretty well set, unless it's a week where I don't have many lines, then everything caves in.

RyanStiles: Born in Seattle. Raised in Vancouver. I was 10 trying to escape the conflict in Viet Nam ; )
DiedrichB: I was born in Washington D.C. and then I moved around a lot...Paris and Princeton and most cities with the letter "P"

DiedrichB: This was my seventh pilot.
RyanStiles: Thousands. Everything from game shows to the national news...

Question: Is television the medium you had both hoped for? Would you like to do MOVIES too?
RyanStiles: They both have their good points. TV is quicker and you don't have to wait months to see your work. Out of all the visual mediums, I prefer working with a sketch artist. ; )
DiedrichB: I'd really like to work on short-wave radio. But it just doesn't pay.

Question: Diedrich, which episode were you in Star Trek The Next Generation? Did you get to be an alien?
DiedrichB: Oh God, I wish. I was on the episode called The Emissary that introduced Worf's lover when he became captain of the ship. I took over his position. I never got to walk through the door but I did get attacked by Klingons.
RyanStiles: And to this day, when he goes in for a hair cut, he still drinks the green stuff they keep the combs in.

DiedrichB: We have a book.
