Due to the site being just a little over three years old, we have found it necessary to archive some of our older items that are no longer of use. In the future, there will probably be even more retired sections you can find on here. One day you might see old information, archived news, and pages that are either no longer up-to-date nor important to this site. In the meantime, this page currently withholds screencaps of our first four layouts, our old Comics and Fanfiction areas, as well as our original news system that was used from the time we opened until March of 2009. Keep your eye out for further updates on here.

If you're looking for old Ryan news and postings that used to be found on the main page of the site, everything from 2008 and earlier has been moved to our new 'Past News & Archives' page to free up space on the home page and make it a little less cluttered. However, all news is still intact and can be found on this new archive page, in case you're wanting to read old news, etc.

Past News & Updates (Old Style)

As there are many other websites and online communities that feature fanfiction, we have decided to get rid of our fanfiction section. It was too hard to find any stories that we deemed appropriate to add to the site, and those that want to read fanfiction already know elsewhere to go. We only had only story anyway. Nevertheless, here is the link to the old fanfiction page:

The Fanfiction Section

A friend of mine by the name of Jordan used to be our official comic artist. However, she became too busy, and no one else was interested in taking over her position. For the longest time, the Comics page simply sat around with just a couple of comics on it, and it didn't make any sense to keep it around. There are still tons of beautiful pieces of Fanart, which is continually being added to. The Comics section, however, has been laid to rest.

The Comic Strips

As the site matures, so often does its fans and viewers. And to be blunt about it, the 'Ryan Obsession' page was immature and just too 'silly' to be kept as a feature of the site. RSN is currently striving towards being less of an entertainment site and more of an information and collective news hub, so this section just was very out of place. Not to mention, some of what was written now just seems, well, inappropriate. While we can look back on what was written in the past and smile, it's time to move on.

Ryan Obsession

The Ryan Stiles Fan Network (or RSFN as it was fondly called) was an online group of die-hard Ryan Stiles fans. The fans would once in a while receive special news and updates and promotions involving Ryan and the site. RSFN lives on, but we have moved away from this old page and are now on Facebook, which is easier to update and archive and is more accessible to people. However, you're still welcome to check out the old group.
